You will may find that your old springs have probably sagged 20-30mm, so thats why the lift appears a lot higher.
Lift coils will be based on factory heights from new, not 20yr old sagged springs

so i take it they arrived up there ok, i assume you mean the kit lifted the vehicle 90mm not 50mm ?? they may settle a little but not 40mm, what can be done by a spring maker is to scrag them down which is fully compress them, and release, if that does not do it they could be heat treated, scragged down and tempered,
i am surprised at the height?? are they sitting in the spring seat properly??
Cheers

hey mate yep they arrive yesterday. I'm just going to run them as they are and see what mod's I'l have to do. Those drop boxes should hopefully fix any castor issues. Can I safely run all those gearbox spacer plates and the drop boxes aswell? Just wondering if it will stress the engine mounts.

Re: drop boxes
What size lift are you actually running? I've never heard of drop boxes being used on a 2" lift before

Re: drop boxes
dropboxes can be used from 2'' lift upwards so I ve read
gearboxs spacers are what have done in my top of the radiator shroud

Never heard of it myself, only 75mm or higher (3" is the smallest the bigger name manuracurers offer) but if it works, it works.

hey mate yep got the whole package on friday. I didn't really count in the fact that my old springs had sagged, so it is probably more like a 75mm lift which suits me fine. cheers for getting those bits up to me so fast. owens dropped them off to my door for me aswell
