anyone running a Superior Engineering lift kit...???

Post by skidtoy »

after do abit of research into the suspension i was going to run in my new truck i have scraped it and am now looking at buying a complete kit from auz but changing and adding some parts to suit what i want. just wandering if anyone is using any of there parts or even a kit...??? after adding up the cost of buying bits and pieces from here and there i think it will be a better buy to just get it all from the one supplier since they can offer the type of kit im looking for. link below of the basic kit which i was gonna to add bits to

Hope you know a cheap way to get all that here otherwise big $$ to freight I would think.

The shocks have only recently been released, but apparently they are very good for the price.
I've run their Flex Arm, and it made quite a big difference to handling and wheel travel off road.
Didn't bother with the sway disconnects, just removed the bars completely.

Dropout cones and retainers are a waste of time IMO, you are better off matching the coils/shocks

Would have thought even in a LWB you might encounter driveline vibes with a 7" lift.

I had no probs using mastercard when I got my dropboxes about 18months ago.

I DID have bl**dy NZ Customs wanting $80 to release them in Auckland though!!! Mongrels.

i am pricing up freight acouple of different ways so it isnt working out to bad to get good gear.

im not going to use everything in that kit was going to take some bits out like the swaybar links, will be using the spring drop out cones because from the type of flex im trying to get my truck will need them as i am still looking at replacing the rear shocks with 18inch long travel units.

from what everyone says in auz mags and on forums the parts are some of the best so im pretty much set to use most of this kit but add some other parts like rear long arm kits etc.
