It's funny how some people hate the old school push rod, single cam, Chevy LS power plants. Some hate them to bits and can't understand why they are still making them. :lol:
Less gear to fail I recon and reliability reigns supreme!
Go the Chevy motors!!!!!! :twisted:

I'm loving that external bar work on that Jeep. Friggin awesome!! :shock: He's spent some serious money on it.

Nice rig though. Best Jeep I've seen to date.

Those diff look awefully small though. I guess that will be the weak point. Dont know how the Dana diffs fare behind big donks.

Hi,
If you read the build thread it says that he has put some flash / expensive bits inside the axles to take the power.

nothing wrong with a alloy chev
there light small and have a pile of poke and there milloins of bolt ons for them :D
with springs and cam not hard to get a honest 300rwkw reliably out of them on stock management
they sound expensive on the uptake 6k for a motor and ecu ... but thats cheap really for teh hp they have
