Franklin Fishing?

Was planning to go for a fish this weekend, port waikato sort of area, don't really know this area to well so was wondering if anyone could recommend anywhere for some rock fishing / surf casting?

fish at the river mouth at the heads, good thing is that you gota drive through a whole lot a sand dune to get there, theres purpose made tracks, i find it best fishing at low tide so you can cast into the middle, forget the road you turn into to get to the dune acess bit if you get to the surf club you have gone to far, half a k befor the surf club turn right, theres a gate that accesses the dunes, theres honestly a couple hous of track to explore aswell
