Nath up the Worsley today.

Nathan at 4WD Acc is going to take his truck up the Worsley this avo.
He's asked me and another chap to tag along.

Now this short trip will be very interesting.
It's the first time Nath's truck is out after the heavy mods to it. It's still not completed. But he wants to give a blast to see how it goes.

Awesome yea panel damage doesnt bother me either and the tracks is so much more fun and challanging in the wet.

Nah nah nah. It is much more fun in the dry. You can pull way better angles and flops in the dry when there is some traction, and the big rock at the beginning is much easier to climb in dry conditions (also make the uninitiated scream like little bitches when they are going shotgun )

Thats a cool vid, its amazing how different the track is up there now. Ideal place when dry for crawlers though.

Well. Got back at about 6.
As most of you know. I haven't done a lot of 4 wheel driving. But this trip? Was the farken hardest I've EVER been on!!!!
I'm STILL buzzing from it.
I just love off road tracks. I got the bug big time. i wanna go out and go it again aye.
It was all about Nath's truck maiden voyage today, after all the mods.
He was running 10psi and was bound to pop a tire. It happened. We all grouped together and got it changed.
Those twins with the white Surf must of been on steroids aye. Coz they helped out like no one I've know. And it was there trucks maiden run after their mods. No lockers but bead locks. Their rid did REAL well. With lockers there will be no stopping em.
But Nath's truck did an awesome job. The pix/vids I took didn't do it justices.
Then there was Diesel's truck. His truck is the one on it's side. Just a slow roll it was. A gentle roll back by hand is all it took to get it back on it's feet. No panel damage can you believe. His truck did real well to.
So after winching in just one spot. (Diesel's didn't need winching anywhere ) we got up with no major breakages.

AWESOME trip guys!!
First time for me going up that track.

man last year i was up there offen with lili for a picnic lunches.

have done the track in the old mitzzy in the wet and it was FUN then.

time i started saving up for some silerstones.

From what I heard, because it's getting so rutted out lately, they are thinking of closing the track.
Honestly. The track was hardcore!
Like I say, I've done a Reefton trip with Al, and that's a walk in the park compared to the state of this track right now.

Both mirrors did nibs.
The rag top bar didn't bend. And the rag top itself only got scratch.

Next time I'll take the mirrors off before heading up.
But since the mirrors were the only damage. I'm stoked.
Those multimillion dollar bash bars are paying off.

The next mod I'd like to do. Isn't a spring over. But I'd like to turn the u bolt assembly on the axles upside down. Those plates at the bottom of the axles are like bulldozer blades.
Last mod (I've said that before) would be coil the front end.

I heard a year and a half ago they were closing it soon. Soon maybe 5 years?

they have been closing it for the last 5 years,i havent been up there for some time.always nasty in the wet though.
Going by the trucks that were there it must be pretty bad
