Just brought some wheels 15x8 -15offset? for my new landcruiser prado 70 series got told this is a the beam axle offset.But just tried to fit em and they JUST scrape on the caliper.Do the landcruiser require a bigger offset ..Grrrr Cheers,Rob

You prob need the -24 or -28 off-set steelies, they will give you a wider more stable stance but will still be ok for wof's etc.
rubbing on the caliper isnt from the offset.the spoke part of the rim is the wrong shape.all that type or rim have the same shape of spoke and ther offset is set by where its welded to the rom section.D window wheels would probibly fit.the best thing to do is probibly put spacers on to give you some clairance
Just grind enough off the heat sink on the caliper, theres no fluid galleries anywhere near the heat sink. As someone else mentioned -24 is the usual offset rims used on cruisers/hiluxs. 5mm I think is the biggest slip on spacer you can have without a spacer. Repco had them for $50 a pair
ifyou run the caliper very close to the rim there is a good chance rocks might get caught between them & that wont be good...id go get the correct wheel .... much safer option all around than grinding or using spacers.
