Re: Paint / powder coat
Your probably better off painting it that way if you chip it or damage it its easy to touch up, if the powder coat chips it cant be touched up and the steel underneath will start rusting.

If you want it to last id use a good primer then a 2k silver over top, 2k is a good hard wearing paint but looks really good too.

I would spray it gives it a nice finish and no brush marks, have you got gear to spray with?

Re: Paint / powder coat
at $50 for front and rear you could get them re-done multiple times and have them always looking smart... from memory i paid $120 for just my front bar to be re-powdercoated!

Can ya guarrantee that cheap price in a years time when you need it tidied up?
Go paint, might cost more but easier to fix up later (can be done in any paint shop).

Re: Paint / powder coat
Paint it. You still have shit to do that setup and it is much easier to touch up paint than powder coat.
