Terawhitis great afew big bogs and pleanty of great tracks and obstacles. you don't have to give him beer but i do as hes a good guy. If we mention who we are and how many vehicles are intending to go out there he may give us a bit of a deal

I've got about 1 1/2 weeks to do as much as I can. Then I'm left by myself wondering what to do next
. Anyone on here know how to rebuild a hilux front axle and set the bearing preload?
My Dad will have finished the caliper brackets by this week so the rear axle just needs a spring perch (not hard) and it will be on. The front needsw to have radius arm brackets made up for the chassis and axle. Then something to hold the coil over at the top. And then the brakelines, wireing, driveshafts, bodywork modifications (with the 9" of course), the gearbox replaced (with one up the back), The engine put in, and then I'm good to go
.
Odlins sounds like a good idea, as well as Terawhiti. But does anyone have access to rallywoods? I half know my way around odlins and a weekend up there would be cool. And theres a bit of descent rock climbing in that river.

Too late I think. You've asked for it now
From now on Turoa's Land Rover shall officially be known as
"The Shedrover"
1992 Land Rover Discovery V8i, 5 speed, 12000lbs winch, Salisbury rear, 110 front, 65mm spring lift, dents in every panel, Rallywoods pinstriping.

I dont have anything against them. I thought your vitara actually went really well. I mean you could have bought my 32's if you wanted to. And heres a little drawing I did for you. Its called James' future mods.
