Split Cv boots.
Split Cv boots.
Has anyone tried the split boot kits that toyota makes? Just wondering how well they work in real life, on 4x4s that actually go offroad. Cheers

Wouldnt waste your time with those. They generally fall apart, leak at the seams so if they leak out, they will leak in.
The better one to use if you dont want to remove the CV off the shaft is the stretch boot. They're a bit more expensive and you'll need the cone to put them on with. BNT sell them as a kit with cones. You will still need to remove the CV from the hub.

Cheers, thought they would be one of those things thats to good to be true. Even though the sales person insisted they were the bees knees.
