It was not possible to determine the dimensions of the image

The heading says it all, when trying to post a 640 x 480 picture from Snapfish I get this message. Ideas (When I posted this I see that at present I have no avatar so maybe I need to wait for my surpporters status to be updated)

sorry havnt been able to get to admin stuff the last few days due to LR rebuild. I think if the forum cant determine the size of the image to embedd it will not allow it, even if the photo is smaller than the max size. I'll just quickly enable your supporters now and you can add the photo to the ore albums which don't have a problem with image size recognition.

Um........as the title says, I've resized the pic to 640x480
[img]insert%20link%20above%20here[/img] but then I get the message "It was not possible to determine the dimensions of the image."

Any ideas? hints?

yup, that was the link to the page that contains the photo. you need the link to the photo itself which is:

http://farm5.static.flickr.com/4082/481 ... 5bbe81.jpg

to get that you need to right click on the photo and either goto properties or image location. the photo should address should end in a .jpg or .png or a .gif

so then you add the [img ]http://farm5.static.flickr.com/4082/4810715695_bb715bbe81.jpg[ /img]

ignore those spaces. they are there so it prints out to show you.

without spaces it renders it in the forum.
