Maratoto planting and cutting 1 Aug

It looks like the rainfall this coming week might be modest, so a trip into Maratoto on Sun 1 August is planned by the Auckland 4WD Club to plant 70 Kaihikatea saplings up by the steam engine.

That will require really good tyres and capability but for those who have less capable vehicles and still want to help, there is plenty of vegetation trimming to do before the going gets too tough.

The start time at the Wires Rd ford will be 9.30am.
