Sway bar material?

Post by rokhound »

Can anyone help me with what type of steel a sway bar is made of?
And if they know of anyone in Chch who manufactures them?

I have a mock up unit sorted out, but there are some fairly tight radius on it and I will need someone to bend the new one.

Cheers

Yep, I kinda figured Bellamys or Chamberlains would be the go. Have dome some Google work, looks like the steel is 4130 spring type stuff.

I'll go and have a chat with them, cheers.
