WTD - High ratio diff head/nugget G / F series - Hilux/Hiace

Hi guys,

I'm after a high ratio G series diff head.
Needs to be under 4.0:1 preferably below 3.7 but long shot.
Will be custom mated to a T series housing so don't need any ancillaries.

I'm running small wheels with a 1uz so don't want to be cruising at 3200 rpm.

Would settle for a F series from Estima etc but ratios are generally bad.

I'm in the Manawatu but will pay for shipping. Going to Auckland mid August.

sounds like you need a front head from a petrol 80 series cruiser 3.7 ratio

EDIT: Just ran the codes off dads diesel 80 series and has (Apparently) 3.1 A series 138mm in the front and 9.5" K series 4.1 in the rear. Just for reference.

Should be the same ratio front and rear mate

Yeah, was scratching my head at that too.
Will be 4.1 all round then.

Do petrol ones have higher diff ratios?

I it's 9.5inch though... Too big.

one 9.5" one 8" high pinion ,thou i do have another 9.5"3.7 fine spline out there somewhere

Might be able to do a 3.9 8 inch toyota diff head. Will need to check ratio's though.
