4sale 93 SWB Pajero v6 5 speed broken- Wellington

Have a sister in Wellington with a SWB Pajero 1993 v6 5 speed with a blown head gasket. Obviously possibly cracked head also. Has 190k's and is in good condition with WOF and new reg and Battery.
She has no option of fixing it herself and I'm a bit far away so it is forsale. Quote from the mechanic is far more than she is willing/able to spend but it would be a good truck for someone to either fix or sell for parts. Very good condition and no strange noises from box or diffs etc. She has spend a small fortune (far more than the truck is worth) at mechanics on things like brakes etc so it has lots of good parts.

Keen on any offers or at least a good idea of what it is worth. It still runs and will drive but is sitting at a mechanic while she decides what to do with it.

Unfortunately not very much.

The whole vehicles are not worth much and the problem with having good diffs, transfer case, gearbox etc is that so do all the other Pajero's of that age. Talking with the wreckers down here, they are the hardest running gear of all the vehicles for a wrecker to get rid off.

'93 was the change over year - I will assume it is a 3.0?

yea thought you'd say that but still interested in what not very much is $? Yes i think its a 3.0 but i'll have to check. Figured someone might want the 5 speed but she won't be wrecking it.

For what its worth it's a shame its up there or i'd look at fixing it and using it as a run around/selling it on. As its a nice truck

Long time follower on ORE, ie NJV6's builds and met Overkills brother in the Aka's when he had the SAS paj. Also met/seen a few locals on the tracks.
I have a 94 NJ 3L on 33's, bullbar, 9000 warn, sidebars, rear chasis lift and 2.85 gears.
Currently have a few mechanical issues and this pajero may be an ideal solution for me.
Have $1200 cash.
Would she be interested.
