Paid Membership

Post by mike »

I have finally finished the integration of the memberships for ORE into the site. Those that wish to support the site financially through membership can by following this link to the shop Offroad-Express Shop. You have two options, a general forum membership and an association-forum membership. You can pay by NZ Bank Transfer or Credit Card. When paying by bank transfer you will need to be manually activated.

The big benefits to members are still under development and will be made over the next month ( I only have so many hours in the day ). Some functionality will be lost to general users such as forum avatars, gallery uploads, members 4wds and classifieds, but all normal forum behavior will remain. The most important thing at the moment is for the site to purchase a rack mount server which allows the site to be moved into a proper hosting environment and the site to speed up again.

What do you get? well it helps pays Mike for his endless time and costs associated with hosting this forum, at the moment there are a few sponsers and the rest comes out of his fix the surf fund and his rent ....

The 4wd association membership is a big step, it means we can get access to places other "clubs" can.

I've just joined......

I'm checking out whats avaliable and prices...we get such stuff on demand thru CCVC and will report back in another post with options and prices so people can take a vote or something, and if Mike is happy to proceed ......

Does anyone have any suggestions designs etc? so I can get prices, or does anyone on here produce these?, do people want an option to stick their screen name on the eg jacket?
