don't stick out as far as I thought they would

but holy crap you gotta hold on tight between 50 - 60kph

would help if the bloody tyre shop had a balancer that was actually bolted to the floor instead of trying to walk off the pallet as we spun them up

Meh. They look rubbish. Think you should just relist them on trademe and I WILL out bid you next time

On the positive side you may meet a new boyfriend with that new look (no I am not upset in anyway that you outbid me on these rims - not in anyway at all - really - as Mr Tui billboard would say).

On the up side I am sure you will get lots of punctures. Best wishes

Skid, didn't you have the 33 mudstars on your 80? Did you decide you weren't happy with them or just figure you'd go bigger?

yup, mudstars and alloys are just having a rest in the lockup for now

been wanting to try out 35s for a while now, and the opportunity arose, so I did it

happy now, coz they fit piece of piss and shouldn't rub, although have yet to fully articulate

but knowing that they fit, I will be now saving my coin for a set of 35" mudstars when they arrive in the country

93 KZN130. nothing particularly special, except that it only cost me $1500 :D

all i've done so far is strip the usual dressup shit off, chucked on the 32's i had for my Landcruiser, and swapped a diff into the back.

Need to make up a simple bullbar/hook mount for the back end before it's ready to use. Nice to see that taking the bumper & towbar off the back has fixed the sagging springs

Got a full set of genuine flares, running boards, mudflaps, nudgebar, swaybars and rear bumper here if anyone wants to buy them...

Pic here, it's not letting me use [ img ] tags..

they came on the truck when i got it and someone has done a bloodly good job of doing them as there is no bog

they where also on the truck i plan to change them in the future,i have to underseal the chassis anyway and i have new tyres so there isnt any paint on them

Here is a few photos of my hilux two when i first got it and the other two are what she was like 6 months ago.

http://s738.photobucket.com/albums/xx21/antsarooney/

Since then she has had an engine transplant from 2.4 to a land rover 3.9 v8 still working a few bits out with that and a 50mm body lift all of which still needs cert.
Will get some new photos to.

Time for a bit of an update. 3" suspension lift, 33x12.5 Maxxis Bighorns, airflow snorkel, rear lsd. Lately added 2.5" exhaust to help the 2lte breathe a little easier, intercooler to come. Front lockrite. Custom front bar made by 4wd accessories and 12,000lb Iron Man winch (still to wire up). GME TX3100 to fit sometime...

Unsure on what intercooler I'll use yet, either subaru water to air or bighorn top mount.
2008 R51, 2.5TD. 265/70R17 R/T's, 1.5" Rancho lift, Ironman snorkel and Deluxe winch bar, SCA 12,000lb winch and 9" LED spotlights, Kings awning, Alpinestar roof box, GME TX3100 UHF.

They definately did a great job of it! Not too worried about the fairlead being on that angle, will see how it is when winching though (when I finally get the bloody winch wired up :? ). Side protection and rear bar are on the list after intercooling. Just want that extra insurance being the 2LTE (3L head though).
