Series 2 clutch bleed

Post by FORGE1 »

How do I do this? I tried on a bleed valve half way down the fire wall but it felt like it was taking for ever.

I have read on other forums that its gravity fed if you undo the valve on the slave. Where is the slave is it right underneath or the one that I was using half way down the fire wall?

Any help would be great

Thanks
Ray

The slave is the cylinder that activates the clutch release bearing, should be on a bracket on side of gearbox bell housing. Later boxes had it on the left lower side. They are pricks to bleed and Ive sometimes resorted to using a huge syringe full off fluid going in from the slave nipple.
