Hi,
Reading the forums I'm a bit confused:
Some people say the Firestone Destination AT's are rubbish, and the article on the NZ4WD site says these are awesome :

Who to believe?
I am looking for a set of tyres for my 1.6L Zuk for mainly highway driving, but with occasional farm track / wet grass driving.
I already have a set of 235/15 Maxxis MT for the serious mud, but as an everyday tyre I need a replacement for my ABSOLUTELY RUBBISH 195/80R15 Hankook Dynapro ATs.
I am aware that AT is a compromise - neither HT nor MT, but as an everyday tyre I seriously need replacements for the Dynapros.
I'll want to go 205/75R15 or even 215/70R15 in order not to compromise on-road gearing. Are there any issues with this over-widening ?
Please advise.
Cheers,

I run Maxxis Bravo AT's on my shiny playdo, seem really good on the road and in the wet. Reasonable price as well. Ran Goodyear AT/r's on my Zuk these were good as e=well but pricey better than the factory At/2's which I found skittish in the wet

Thanks for the response. I'll start doing some research into the Maxxis ATs.
I'm not acquainted with Robo, sorry. Is he on this forum?

I've got Bridgestone Dueler AT 694's on my wife's Vitara.
They are great on road, have lasted really well and are OK on the farm tracks and paddocks where I go shooting.
The Firestone Destinations are quite a good tyre. We fit a lot to Rav4's, Surf's, and Hilux's at work, and we haven't had any bad reports about them.

In response to mudbugga's pro bridgestone/firestone vs Jerry's Maxxis:
Which of the ATs gives best WET ROAD handling.
Obviously a softer tyre lasts less but I'm willing to compromise tyre life for safety.
I'll try to get hold of Robo tomorrow,
Cheers,
