Pucker Park this Thursday

Post by petefj40 »

Me and the bro are heading up to Pucker park this Thursday for a bit of a fang round during the day.

Leaving Chch at around 9-10am.

I'm taking the buggy behind my 40 and bro is taking the class one Subaru powered offroad buggy behind his 40.

If you're keen to join us pm me and we'll sort something out.

The cost per day to use your truck there is $40. Bear that in mind please.

Pete.

Been told by the fellas that shape the place that it's so wet up there that we would be swimming more than trucking.
So we're going to wait till the rain stops at least.

If I'm not heading north this weekend philux we might see you up there.

I'd say down on the flats where all the hazards are would be nearly underwater by now. The flat area was where the bro was going to use his 2X4 buggy. But up in the hills should be ok.
Still not sure if I'm busy this weekend or not. Otherwise I'd be keen.

Thanks Jason, still not sure if we're heading up but if we do we'll see you there. Does Rick still have that double-cab hilux?

Philux if we go we'll probably head up earlier than 9 as we need to be back in CHCH 4.30ish, plus the FJ40 isn't that quick so we need a head start :)
Pete, sorry for the thread-jack

Okies, lemme know what sort of time you're thinking about, and where. We were pondering a trip up Worsley...
