I know this a bit late but have just been checking clearences for the new rubber and no rubs anywere apart from the tyre slightly rubbing the pitman arm on FULL lock so all good and im happy i dont have to cut the guards etc, hopfully ill be on the Palmy Akka's trip on Sun to give the Simex's a test.

Nothing really 4WD related in the weekend...

until sunday night - get a call to say someone hadn't returned from a trip into Macetown.

Go in with another truck about 8pm, find them at Macetown itself by a bonfire with their truck stranded in loose shingle further downstream.

Pull the vehicle out, put the fire out, drive out. Floods have changed things a bit.

Filled in sunday night anyway...

Yip thats about it and often you can find them a fraction cheaper if you know people in the trade but theres bugger all margin in them for discounts.
