Old Archive NZ trip down the West Coast to Kahurangi Point

Post by juz »

Skip to 2:05, Gotta love the old trucks and especially carting the Acytelene Bottles on the front of the Jeep! At 5:25 is that an early Simex Triple Block on the bonnet?

Yep, that's cool. Have only gotten as far as big river, was by myself. Would love to go back and knock the bastard off totally.

Thats a great find!!!!

The rock formations haven't changed, and its interesting how some of them developed (with a bang  )

Its an awesome trip if you get the opportunuity.

Do not under estimate the Big river crossing, its soft and deep.

The DOC hut (house) at the light house is bloody good too.

One of the best summer trips out there :D :D
