I recent bought some rear std height Koni adjustable shocks for my LWB HQ. Looking for some suitable coil springs and found an Australian brand called Lovells?
What is this brand like?
Any recommendation on Lovells coil springs?

Are you keeping the HQ standard height? Lovells are good springs for cars but havent really heard of them being used much in 4wds.
Toyota Landcruiser FJ40, front and rear lockers, 35" simex.
Toyota FJ45 build in progress.
Tires are like boobs, they always look big until you have played with them for a while, then you just want a bigger set.

Yes, I'm not intending on raising the Nissan GQ above std height.

Depends what you want the Q to do....if you've got konis i'd automatically think fairly hard settings and for mainly for on road use and fairly 'enthusiastic' driving...do you tow much (if so maybe EFS +100kg springs, but they could lift maybe up to 40mm if unloaded)...if towings not a concern, perhaps OME might be worth a look..., gets down to what you want....and there's both fixed and progressive rate springs to consider in that equation as well.....

Hi MarkT,
Yes, the GQ is used daily by my wife. From time to time we do tow a 5.5McLay boat and have found the rear suspension a bit soft and probably sagged over it's 17 years. I will be setting the Koni's onto the harder settings.

Hi mark try the kings cant beat them 30mm lift no saging with 200kg in back of swb and lwb gq and just a nice firm ride with no weight .
Tried ome in a 94 prado as only ones made for early prado but just to hard and bouncy even with new shocks , Ireckon once you try kings you wont go past them.
