steering box leak

steering box leak

i have a TD11W Suzuki escudo and its started leaking power-steering fluid out the top of the steering box. just wanting to know if any one has had this issue be for, and any ideas on how to fix it?

Wheres it leaking from on the top? Is it a seal? I pulled my 70 series steering box apart carefully an replaced all the seals with new ones from Seal Imports. Cost $16 all up :lol:

it looks to be coming out of the top adjuster nut thing. the input and output shaft seals are not leaking. $16 is cheap as

Theres prob just a o-ring under it thats perished

Yep, I had the same thing on one of the three-doors. It was the washer under the top adjuster nut and from memory I think it was a copper disc washer.
'89 3-Dr scud. 2" body lift, 2" suspension, Snorkel, 31x10.5's, Evil-daughter chose the paint-job.

Had the same thing with mine recently with the exception of the fact that it was the output shaft leaking, not the top ones.

Perhaps try tightening the nut to stop the leak?

I couldn't be arsed pissing about with mine and just had it recon'd
