I think you will will find that the NTN ones are stronger that the trailgear ones from SNR, they are just a bit of an upgrade from the std toyota ones.
The NTN one are similar strength to the trailgear Dirty 30's and probably not quite as strong as the longfield 30's

Lol, Tim I dont know what fairy tale you plucked that information out of, but you are miles off the mark, these are not NTN ones, they are Nitro Gear ones. They are made from 4340 and are 27 spline so I would expect them to be somewhere near the same strenghth as the 27 spline TG ones, they are not comparable to Dirty 30's or Longfields at all. The NTN ones you speak of are an stock CV, and in fact NTN is an OE supplier to Toyota and many other manufacturers, much like 666 and the like. They are made to Toyota's specs.
Depending on where you buy a replacement stock CV from, you might get NTN, 666 or the unbranded Toyota ones. BTW Dirty 30's and Longfields are similar strengths
'85 Hilux crawler, 3rz, duals, 4.7's, 4.88's, ARB's, 30 spline Longfields, 6 stud SNR4x4 Histeer, Airshocks up front, coiled rear, 40" Iroks.

Yes quite right, couldn't check what the the T-Me one were as no access due to work restriction and was going off my memory which was wrong. When I said NTN I was meaning the Nitro-Gear
Apologies for the miss information.
Cheers
Tim
