Wellington City- Driveshaft ujoint replacement?

Can anyone recommend somewhere cost effective I can take my hilux driveshaft for some new ujoints? Hopefully in the city?

YOu could get someone to press them out then get some new joints from SKF an get them pressed in. But SKF is in seaview

hes on the money Nick, oyu need to know someone with a good workshop or access to one, like a big truck fixing place :mrgreen: :mrgreen:

otherwise take them to Howat Engineering :idea:

did you find the clips on your uni, there usually on the inside?

Cheers for that Sadam, I found the clips now and got them off.

Tried the 2 sockets in the vice again but no luck. I'll work out where I can get it to tomorrow.

might just need a bigger vise to get them moving
