Hi does anyone know anything about this vehicle??
http://www.trademe.co.nz/Trade-Me-Motor ... 741579.htm
Looks like still IFS in front, will that mean front diff/cv problems with all of that power?
Overall looks a bit rough but may be just cosmetics??

Re: v8 surf on Trademe

It doesnt look to bad, v8, simexs with Bead cocker rims, lokka in the rear, winch.
But with 35s and the V8 i dont think the front cvs would hold up long it does depend on your driveing stye tho.
Has done a few KMs as well.
Addicted to suzukis....

With an LSD in the front and some careful driving it should last okay.
You will get good at changing CV's though
I could do them in my LN130 1UZ in about half an hour. Carried a spare set with me.
The LN61 would probably have a W series gearbox which isn't the strongest. The R series in the LN130's is much better.
No mention of the diff ratio's. Mine had 35's and I changed down to 33's and it was still too high really with the 4.56 diffs.
Also looks like it will need a snorkel before it goes anywhere! No mention of the ECU it's running, with the airflow meter gone it must be running after market.
Worth checking out how the fuel system has been changed - best approach is to use an LN130 V6 fuel pump and swap that in or a very good quality after market pump near the tank.
Looks like a good radiator and fan setup.
Matt.
