loved the weekend, was a tad seedy today thou :?

always the best time down there, the locals, the yokels and the silly all make for a totally enjoyable weekend :) didnt take any pics, but the only damage the mighty zuk suffered was a crack in the screen from a wayward branch

big ups to all those that make rallywoods the greatest 4x4 playground :)

omg what a weekend ....

firstly thanks heaps to stinky who let me in the navvy seat i learnt soo much and got to go on all the great tracks that the old cruiser just doesn't have the balls to do so a huuuge thanks to you bud love to do it again

big ups to jaffa too .. watching that thing of yours do its duty making that track WOW! seriously im still dumbfounded and blown away at what it can do . up until this weekend i have only seen it parked on the artic ramp and heard stories but seeing it in action is another thing ill be talking about that rite up until i see it do more lol ( ps love to see the pics that were taken making that track )

great to see a huge turn out with trucks going left right and all over the show and also breaking left right and all over the show too hahaha ( good to see everyone scrambling about trying to fix or rescue others too ) but i guess when its your turn its your turn huh thats all part of motorsport and 4wd'n

i cant wait for the next trip seems the best ones are when the palmy boys rock on down

only thing was i counted about 4 maybe 5 cruisers ... a shite load of zuk's and a few saf's whats with that ? where have all the cruisers gone to

Fantastic weekend yet again. I dont think ive seen so many busted trucks at one time. The tracks at rallywoods at the moment are quite challenging and really good fun. All i managed to break was a rear spring hanger and thanks to paul from rallywoods for sorting that out for me. Although i havnt checked underneath after ashleigh took it down diffdinger

Also a big thank you from Karen and Ashleigh to everyone for a great weekend. It was so much fun seeing old and new faces. Can't wait for the next time the Palmy crew come down again :D

come on guys

sounds like far too many breakages, so that means less people driving so more time for taking photos

have you all sulked off to hide under a rock or something

Well that was one fun weekend.. it was " O " for OMG what a awesome weekend at Rallywoods.

Thanks for the palmy army for coming down and breaking their 4x4's and thanks to Paul from Rallywoods for helping fix a few broken part's and trucks so they could A - continue to play and B - so they could get home under their own stream!

Highlight for me was knowing that Landrovers have stupid from ends on them and you should ALWAYS carry the correct tools for the different size nuts and bolts, isn't that right JD aka - Landy Rover??
Low point, DISCLAIMER Any picture posted by Jafa or Jayne/Jane are photo-shoped and I was no where around the area.. having stupid photo's taken of me doing things that I wasn't even doing...

I hope that Jafa will come back so the outlaw track can be finished as he only got about quarter of the way through it :!:

A BIG THANKS also goes to Bolo for going to grab the trailer from Sig's place (Thanks Sig for the use as well!) so we could trailer Possum's dead truck home and again to Bolo for towing Hayden's truck home as well, we (Bolo and myself) assisted Jerry to make sure that he got home ok as his fanbelt was disintegrating under it's one steam as well.

Looking forward to the next time they come down so we can have more carnage!!

As for who won the small challenge :?: :?:
Well lets say that even though the Palmy army had more breakages than the Wellington crew, we had one person that lost it for us... no names need to be mentioned but I can tell you that he was one wet fella more than once/twice/three/four times (the numbers can keep going as well can't they Paul......)

Again thanks to all that came, it was a great weekend.. I will post pick tonight if I get time but I don't really have many.. only ones of trucks being towed/trailered home

Cheers

Cheers Guys for a great day on sunday. Glad i popped the Rallywood's Cherry finally!

I was the guy in the fairly stock Green v6 Surf. Wife and I had a ball of a time. Thanks Reece and Mike for letting us tag along on a couple of tracks. Was awesome to have some really experianced guys around us to help out.

Definatly be up for another trip sometime! Just might not take a trip on the back of Mudnutz's truck if i dont want my mouth to have another arguement with his spare tyre!

Cheers also to Mazdamike and Turoa for introducing us to rallywoods and the good folk up there!

Awesome weekend!, was great to get out in the bush after a bit of a break, Rallywooods dished up its usual challenges, such a great place to go wheeling, you Welly buggers are lucky sods to have this resource on your doorstep. Pushed a new track in for the tougher trucks, needs a few more missions to get it finished, but should be a bit of fun when done. Thanks to Reece,Taz, Stinky and the boys for cutting trees, pushing punga's etc and generally making it possible. Good effort
Here's a few pics, BTW Reece, I have no idea what pics you were referring to...

Getting started...

Its good to see a real truck again showing people how to do it. "The Jalopy and Jafa in Action" A good combination.

I'm envious I couldn't be part of the fun. Awesome pics of the green hut on face book.

There are a lot of good tracks around the country but just for a weekend of 4 wheel driving Rallywoods I think would the best I have seen. Every track only a few minutes from the hut

cheers Richard
