Dont see many of the trials guys with high wagons but I guess that's not what you are building this truck for anyway. I'm guessing you take the family wheeling on weekends?
Alot of guys go SWB to improve ramp over angle which would get round the need to be so high.
Anyway, I like it.Reckon I could use it to launch and retrieve the boat even on the flattest of beaches.
Looking forward to hearing more about the beadlock rims to. You do any steel 15x12" beadlocks?

If there was an award for sharpest eyes on ORE it would go to you for sure!
Assuming you have seen that truck before?

rokhound wrote:Interesting choice of vehicle. Will be interested to see how it goes. My pick is you will be sorting the truck cab out real early on as recovering flopped rigs in rocks is not the same as wallowing around in the mud, and with a COG up where that thing is, you will be flopping it a fair bit (assuming you are going hard out![]()
).
Have you shaved the diff housings to gain the extra clearance? and what sort of gear reductions are you running? With a big ole bitch like her you are going to need the best part of 200 - 1 or you will be forever breaking shit through drive line stress caused by high rev's and instant loading.
I am not a fan of external bead locks as they only lock 1 side of the tyre, and when playing on rocks you are just as likely to blow an inside bead off, this is why I run narrower (8") rims on a 15.5" tyre.
Cool to see some one else who wants to play, shame your in the wrong Island![]()
