Alternative to wound up torsion bars

Post by Shortpaj »

Was just wondering if there is an alternative way to raise the front 50mm rather than winding up torsion bars on a 93 swb paj as i can imagine this puts them under alot of un due stress
Thanks

Same thing, you only need to reindex when you have run out of adjustment. Just wind them up, no worries!

The torsion bars are no more load at all after being wound up. You are effectively just setting the static ride height, the springs are still carrying the same weight.

Put a steel bar, winch and dual batteries in and that will load the springs up...

Did you upgrade the size of bolt when flipping?
