bigger starter motor on 2l?....

stripping engines out of our two old '87 4wd vans to do engine swap. identical vans. But one has a much much larger starter motor. it must be 50mm longer and motor is bigger in diameter. Even the main feed cable from battery mounts two solenoid with a 17mm nut

any ideas what it might be off? castings are all the same shapes and it fits the same way.

I'll have a look. I'll definitely fit it. It seems that both are geared down hi-torque style starters- never seen one of them fitted as standard.
