Hey, My boss has a 2001 bounty. Its running 32.5" tyres and there is no run with no lift or anything. He also has a big TJM front bur, front side bars, sliders, rear quarter bars and rear bumper bar.

Cant offer much more advice other than that. oh just dont load up 5th gear. ie dont accelerate from 80Kph to 100kph in 5th, go to fourth. (thats if it is diesel) They are nice trucks.

Would love to see a SAS one. Should be really good than, also with a coil spring rear end conversion and a flat deck with shortened rear chassis.

I've thought it up gonna get new rear leafs with 2" lift and raw shockys alround. and whind up the front torsions. does anyone know if the springs with a 2" lift will sit higher than the factory torsions will go?

also gonna body lift, hope there's no major bumps..

and run 15x8 respun rims with a set of 33" MUDs maybe those kuhmo ones.

we put my spare set of 32inch tyres on my mates standard height 2000 bounty and it went ok off road...broke afew bits and pieces in the steering but when you compared the size of them to other car makers it was easy to see why they broke they where only half the size so be prepared to beef up the steering with the bigger tyres or it wont get very way then SNAP...!!!

Done it before, Custom made rear spring hangers and longer shocks. We had a customer that required these to be adjustable so he had 3 settings Offroad (high) (Med), and road (Standard) could swap height with a jack and 19mm spanner.

my old proceed 31'' tyres mtr's.
the down side of these utes is the limited upward movement of the ifs. mine had 15mm at the bump stop or 1 1/2'' at the wheel.
oh the radiator is set low fills with mud overheats
