Is the entrance to Rimutaka Forest Park on coast road and far far down is it?

Anyone got better directions?

How long will it take us to get there from Petone?

Im coming from Makara and will be going down Tinakori Rd and on the onramp down there if its any good to you, probably be about 8am ish, got to stop at possums in Wainui but she's pretty much on the main road on the way through.

The forest park enterance is about 8-9 kms down the coast road from where the houses finish, just keep driving down the main road through wainui and you'll get there, theres a stone wall and a couple of heavy green gates and a big sign so if you miss it you were probably eyeing up the sheep in the paddock on the other side of the road and didnt see it

Im coning from Berhampore (near Newtown/Island Bay).

Sadam, Kingpin, do you guys wana meet at the bottom of the gorge???

I guess the best place would be at the shops before the lights as if your coming from Jville.

Lots of stopping/waiting space.

Say around 8:05 - 8:15/ until all three of us get there????

My cell is 027 425 6349

Cheers,

Great Day out, thanks to Possum and Suzuki1k for assisting with this trip, fantastic weather.....10 trucks in total so thats $20 each (minus the discounted trip fees of $10) $200 in total which I'll deposit into the ORE account with the rest of the donations.

For those that missed this I will be running another shiny trip (just a normal one) round here in a month or 2.

Now for some pics
