were to put a boost tap and boost gauge on a d21 terrano?

wondering if anyone knows or has put a boost gauge and tap on a d21 td27t terrano?
also what oil should i use in my gearbox , transfercase and open diffs?
any help is great thanks

depending on what version you have, T into the boost compensator or boost sensor line.

its a 1991 if that helps. have put boost gauges into petrols but thats abit different im guessing.

Castrol VMX in the manual box (4L) and transfer case (2.2L), EPX 80w90 in the diffs (2.8L rear, 1.3L front)

The boost gauge was easy, I'll get a pic tonight

That's where I plumbed my gauge in. Not a pretty job, but I'm fairly certain those hoses aren't gonna blow off. It's max boost is 10psi

That's where I put my gauge pick-up too. As I removed all the emmission gear that elbow was clear and able to be used. Now with the Intercooler on, I drilled and tapped a hole in the intake side of the intercooler and put the same elbow on. The tube stays put with over 20psi boost
