Another Newbie from Welly...

Post by Snaffa »

Hey Guys,

Been trawling the forums for a couple weeks now and thought it was high time i introduced myself!

New to this 4x4 business but quite keen to get involved. Just bought my first 4x4 - a '95 Mitsi Pajero 3500. I'd down just under 150000kms and just had a full service as i didnt get much history with the vehicle.

So far so good - taken her out around redrocks for a bit of play and i've still got the grin on my face. I cant imagine what it must be like to do 'proper' off roading.

Which brings me to a question (one of many i have floating around my head at the moment...)-

going out the other day highlighted that the vehicle seems more than capable however at this stage im certainly not!

Can anybody recommend driving training or anyone keen to show a noob the ropes?

Also are there any track suitable for beginners - somewhere we can hone our skills.

Sorry if these have all been covered before...

Take it easy guys!
