Warn parts

Post by flyingbrick »

Hi all.

I have a Warn M3500 here which is missing a few parts.

Have had an ordeal trying to work out what it was however this is the last reply from WARN america.

warn wrote:Hi Nathan,

This is an M3500 winch then, I have attached the part list again. The motor is a permanent magnet version, we do have brush sets available still, the part number is 31928. Many of the parts are no longer available for this winch though.

If you want to spend some money on this winch you can upgrade the clutch to the metal style, the part number is 68611. Yes, this winch had a brake from the factory, you can retrofit our current brake into this winch, the part number is 32455.

I don’t see a control pack, so you will need to figure out a way to control the winch for power-in and power-out. A new control pack can be purchased, the part number is 39600, and the remote control is p/n 38626.

Another suggestion if this motor needs to be replaced would be to buy a new motor and motor adapter, the piece your motor was bolted to that then in turn bolts to the drum support, you could use motor p/n 77893 and the new motor adapter p/n 25790. Upgrading to this motor will bring the pulling capacity to 6000 or 8000 lbs.

One last thing, I have attached the service manual for our mid frame winches, this will help you with reassembling the winch.

I hope this information is helpful

Best regards,

Steve Schoenfelder
