RALLYWOODS CANOPY CLEARING 30.10.10

Post by skid »

Righto then here it is, have noticed the canopy over all of the tracks at RW is covering the tracks and needs clearing to allow the sun to shine on the tracks so they don't get to wrecked.

I am mainly talking about the access tracks like cruiser drive, you know cruiser drive where Nick rolled his hilux, I nearly rolled the 80 getting a black eye in the process, well they are supposed to be easy to drive access tracks to get to the hard core tracks.

So lets clear the canopy, drain the holes and generally try and restore them back to the tracks they were years ago when you used to be able to drive a bus along them.

What we need for this exercise is scrub bars to clear the edges, then will need competant chainsaw operators who can work standing on the back of utes or on the roof of a vehicle clearing scrub above thier heads

we also need utes with decks to stand on or vehicles with strong rooves or roof racks to stand on, the taller the better.

then lastly we will need lots of folks to walk behind this procession and throw the cut scrub into the bush.

RALLYWOODS WORKING BEE

OCTOBER 30th 9am at Rallywoods Gate

if there are newbies who are coming and don't know the way, then I will be waiting at the corner of Haywards Hill Road and Moonshine Hill Road at 8.30am and leaving for the gate at 8.45am.

*THIS IS A WORKING BEE, IF YOU ARE SEEN TO GO AND PLAY ON THE TRACKS WITHOUT GOOD REASON THEN I WILL BE ASKING YOU FOR $20 TO COVER THE FEE FOR PLAYING !*

so basically you are in for the day and if were planning on coming in after work at lunchtime or something, then you can't

and if you thought you could put in half a day and piss off early, then you can't do that either

Wouldn't worry to much about the airsoft guys, they use the air strip area only and we are looking at the other area, also if I know Dan he wont mind 8)
