im looking for a new truck and have noticed that cherokees are now in my price range, ive been on a test drive with a couple and really like em. so i guess im asking fpr a heads up on any issues that these are prone to. looking at 94-96 models.
the one i drove yesterday had a loud bang in the rear of the drive line somewhere while i was taking it in and out of 4wd, and the rear dif was locked during as well, seemed strange. sound weird to you?
any advice welcome.

oh yea well, what are you selling?
the one i was keen on fell through, someone else got it cheep,
1800, the guy selling it was leaving town the next day and was freaking out. i could have bid it up but not without time to check it all out properly. oh well.
