Removeing A/C in truck
Pulled the air con out from my sj413 today and was wondering what to do with the two pipes going to the core?
I was thinking just to join both together?

Re: Removeing A/C in truck
Because there are 2 hoses leaking coolant in the engine bay that used to go to the A/C that i want to fix

Re: Removeing A/C in truck
So it is the heater core hoses then.
Re: Removeing A/C in truck
If it was the heater hoses from the motor then loop them back together to complete the coolant circuit for your engine side.

A/C generally refers to the cooler part of the system... which wont leak anything once de-gassed.
If its the heater core then do as kbushnz said. Its pressurised so chances are will blow silicone out eventually

Also you said you are going to make some
bung holes
I'm interested to see this? are they holes that require bung-ing (you already have two of those

bung·hole (bnghl)
n.
1. The hole in a cask, keg, or barrel through which liquid is poured in or drained out.
2. Vulgar Slang The anus.

I saw that and thought you meant the air con cooling pipes too.

On my old vitara (Meece's "Mistress" now) I made up a piece of hose to join the two heater pipes together (closed the loop), everything else got ripped out.
