Post by kbushnz »

Hi All

I've heard you can use a Mitsy pump.
I don't know what/if any mods are required though.

There is a few places around that do the mod. I deal with company from kaiapoi. From what i understand they use the old L series pump and use different internals and cams etc, also the boost compensator from the 2lt pump. There is options on how modified the pump can be. The one I have currently got is delivers a lot more power than factory but still can operate in normal boost range plus a little bit more with some extra fuel. The pump im going to get next week is capable of delivering enough fuel for a 185hp 1kz but with the factory turbo its going to be boosting like mad 20-27psi to make full use of the modified pump but with a less hp output of what i stated before, need a big turbo for that :D :D :D
