Starting out with Cruiza

Post by MALACHI »

hey everyone
Im Chase and I have just recently got into 4wd after contemplating over it on and off for the last couple of years as it can be quite expensive. so after a couple of solid months of looking and viewing i got my hands on a 1988 toyota landcruiser MWB 13bt engine bj74. and over the last few months have slowly been fixing and modifying things to improve it offroad, and im sure there will be lots more things to come.

Have just joined manakau club since it meets just down the road :) and look forward to club trips etc and getting to see everyones trucks
Will start up a project thread so all sugestions and ideas welcome!!

Welcome. How many ks has the 74 done? Mine had done 330 when I bought it went well till one of the rings let go on the first road trip  then two more went. I suspect dodgy injectors but I havent pulled the engine apart yet for a proper look just ripped it out to replace it with a v8 instead
