Fitted a 85 amp EA falcon alternator to the samurai replacing the one knowen as the belt burner(100 amp S6 RX7 one) fingers crossed this one will do the trick :D

New water pump now on, (From Toyota) just have to refit radiator, cleaned and fixed.

Picked up Nick's (nstacey) alternators, dropped them of at his place Friday night then helped him fit one, all sorted now!! His comment was, they look like new ones... :mrgreen: :mrgreen:

Pulled Abbo's starter to bits and freed it up, cleaned all the mud out of it (some from when Basic had it I bet!) and greased/oiled the bearings put it back together then tested it, spun up great!

Other than that been watching Toto on DVD, sweet band! :mrgreen: :mrgreen: :mrgreen: :mrgreen:

Changed the engine oil on the samurai then i pulled the 8274 apart gave it a clean out then fitted a drain bolt in the bottom and filler one in the top then fitted a fitting for a breather tube

Replaced my dented diesel tank with a nice straight one & also fitted a bash plate for it .
Replaced my bent bash plate for transfer case.
Greased drive shafts & cleaned all the mud out of the brake drums.

Picked up some chickens this morning, three eggs already! 8)
Just picked up some 80series springs to go in the 71, do that one day this week. Should even out the ride height hopefully.

Went into Woodhill to watch people like "92 safari 17" get stuck :mrgreen:
And help remove if required (Safety Patrol)
Very dry in there, not much mud....
Drove some of the tracks which had been winch jobs over winter.

removed running boards and rear bumper off the daily 130 surf..
then cut and rewelded the tow bar to tuck it up to the body.. got a new wof, reg and its first oil change in 2 years :shock: gona buy a set of big ats for it so i can get down the beach again to do some fishing since my hilux is out of action for awhile..

Fixed my brothers boat, drove for two hours, took 20 mins :shock:
Then went exploring a few tracks with my girlfriend on his Yamaha Rhino, He rekoned it cost 23k new, 700cc fuel injected, 2wd, 4wd and diff locks 8) 8) 8) 8)
It lay down for a sleep :twisted: :twisted:
Couldn't push it up hill so, rolled over agian onto wheels :wink:
Took it back to him, told him it went great down hills :lol: :lol:

I keep looking for the loose nut behind the wheel, but I can't find it!!

Went up Thompsons in the 130, swamped it and now it won't idle well and low oil pressure(PM me with any ideas?).
Got to the summit tho was very dry.

Got most of my engine assembled, minus one head (cut one of the valve stem seals so ill have to get onother one tomorrow) :x gave up on the engine an warped some panel steel :lol: :lol:

Went up north today and checked out the national trails. Had a great time and the weather was good. Saw a few good rollovers think I caught a few on video :D .
Comp rig: Suzuki Vitara, L67 Supercharged V6 Commie and auto, Prado chassis and diffs. Gigglepin 8274 twin motor rear mounted winch, air free spools, 35" Silverstones, ect

Went for a WOF on sat. Failed.
