315/75/16 Mud Tyres and Rims Wanted to Buy / Swap

Looking for some tyres and rims as above, to suit an 80 series landcruiser.

Currently have a set of KL71 33/12.5/15 tyres, approx 8mm tread all round, on 15x8 steel rims, which I would look at selling, or could look at swapping if anyone was wanting to downsize...

Failing that, can anyone recommend anywhere in the lower south island offering good prices on new mud tyres at the moment?

you would be better off keeping the 15 inch rims and puuting on some 35s, the 315/75r16 are bloody expensive. i had these on my 80 as i couldnt go to the 15 inch rim. plenty of 35s on trade me. both have the same overall diameter.

i have a set of 315/75r16 same as 35x12.5r16, yokohama geoland mud terrains, good as condtion, 10mm of tread at least on all. mounted on 16x8 black steel spoked rims.

i dont really want a set of 33s tho.

Dont know if anyones interested, but im thinkin about sellin me 35x12.5x15 Cooper Stt muds, got 5 of the buggers, been great tyers, faultless on the black top under the heavy GQ and have held there own off road. im thinkin about $700 got about 8--10mm in the centers, be good dailys for someone instead of havin ya truck look like a skateboard on small wheels.

Just had a close look around me tyers an I reckin theyve got about 6mm in the centers and 15mm on the side lugs,so I might have put ya crook there they may be a bit cheeper. Its taken 5 1/2 years to get them to that stage so im pickin they'll be good for a while yet. Im pretty keen to hang on to me rims to mate.
The tyers are a matching set of 5 in the older bigger block tread patten and regualary rotated, i reckin thats why they have lasted so long, also all in pretty good nick. I dont know if these will still suit your needs or not mate. Sorry i cant get some pictures to ya i have no email at the moment.
