Re: Fergs new Pajero Shorty
Yeah all good. It may work fine but it may also put a bit of strain on things. Can only find out by testing it.

Re: Fergs new Pajero Shorty
Cheers for the comments guys, may have just found the steel to use as my bars etc. Was used in a cowshed, but looks in pretty good nic and pretty thick too

Re: Fergs new Pajero Shorty
Balance the weight with what you want to achieve. May end up pulling the nose down more than you want.
Re: Fergs new Pajero Shorty
How heavy is the box that runs back into the chassis? An how far in does it run?
Just wondering cos I would have thought having the winch that high will create a lot of leverage on the end of the chassis rails as well.
Looks pretty cool all the same

Didn't barbie drive a jeep??
Re: Fergs new Pajero Shorty
steel into the chassis rails is 50x50 box section, 5 mm thick. it slides 270mm into the rails and i packed the chassis rails with steel plate to stop the small amount of movement that was there.
Cheers
