diff interchangeablity in surf

Post by snork »

can early 90's surf diffs be used in a 1995 surf
Both are 130 series and both are ifs
Im really after the rear diff , but unsure of ratio, so might have to change both from the doner surf

Would need to swap the pinion as well.

If you have got both vehicles check what the axle code is on the ID plate on the fire wall in the engine bay. If its the same then should be all good, don't worry abut the last number, if it is 2 then 2 spider, if a 4 then 4 spider and if a 5 the LSD.

Cheers
