I found this site which has been the most helpful for me for finding oil/fluid capacities for my ute when servicing. :D

Im a bit of a newby and just getting into doing all the work on my truck myself so I didn't know all the capacities and levels. :oops:

For some reason I could never find the oil capacity for my 5L-E hilux engine on the net until I found this - I used to play it by ear. :roll:

Someone else may find it useful too - hope I'm not telling anyone to suck eggs cos i'm a dimwit! :mrgreen: :mrgreen:

89 safari, pto winch, 33x15 simexs. sliders,75mm lift . turbo intercoolered

Just looked up the (Safari)patrol...

Says 9.2L including filters...i don't think so. More like 11L :(
