Max body lift on 01 hilux

I have a 01 hilux and am wanting to know the max body lift i can do before i have to start modding steering etc?

I am told 70mm, is that true?

any help would be great, Thanks guys.

75mm is the biggest body lift that can be certified

is this something new?ive had 2 trucks certed with 90mm body lift,and both times different certifiers and both times they were happy with my work
1990 surf 350 chevy jacked up and currently under construction again

oh true i had been told that 75 was the max.

every certifier I think has different opinions but yeah,ive never had problems,the way I look at most of the rules as long as you build something properly with decent thought then they're normally happy,just got to talk to them and explain it all and follow there recommendations and you should be fine

MM i have 70mm blocks ready to go in, Will this b a direct fit with out modding anything?

Ive been told to loosen the steering,handbrake and remove gear stick boot.

can you put some before and after pics up. im interested in how this turns out? im considering the same but maybe not so high. what are you trying to put under there?

yes there are things that you need to watch,others you haven't mentioned are brake lines in the front which usually are happy to just straighten out the coiled bits,and fuel tank filler pipe,50mm lift is usually ok but getting up above that you will need to watch closely or modify,certifiers or at least the few I've dealt with don't like the steering joints slipped apart,your only weakening the joint,the best thing to do is spacer it or change to a different shaft to return spline contact to original amount,remember most of us do this to fit bigger wheels which in turn put more pressure on joints etc
