83 bj42

Post by tangy »

Looking at possibly flicking off my 83 land cruiser. Wanted to know what kind of money they fetch in good condition.

New Air, oil and fuel filters
New Pinion seal
New Shoes and wheel cylinders
New Master cylinder
Rust work completed
RUC 1,000km remaining
Full floating axles, rear LSD.
Rust work mostly done, floors, sides and guards complete and have no issue in WOF. small bit remains.

I have all Receipts.

REGO on hold.

WOF failed 2weeks ago - 3 wheel bearings, RS Steering IDLER bush warn and bull joints on the idler warn.

Are you going to sell it with a WOF?

Nah its all good. I don't have room for another truck at the moment. Will have a road legal one one day hopefully though.
Was just going to say it seems to be worth selling cars with a WOF (especially if you're doing the work yourself) as a lot of people are a bit untrusting if you don't.
Hope you get a good wad for it.

work completed on truck -

New Air, oil and fuel filters

reason for selling, over heating issue and i cant afford to keep putting money into this old girl. :(

Known Issues:

Water hose blew and truck over heated, compression test was carried out and was fine, Leaks fixed. Road test was carried out, truck still over heated. Possibly cracked head etc, have not taken the next step.

Speedo cable was broken when I purchased the truck, so unsure of the accurate kms.

A couple of small rust spots, generally body is tidy.
