the Zuk flatdeck

Post by lilpigzuk »

Heres the other project trying to get sorted. Is currently sitting in Chris's (rotazuk) garage getting a vitara 1600 16v installed. Hoping to be running megasquirt ecu which will aid tuning for mods down the track. Already has a lockrite in the rear when I got it which was a bonus, and have lent the muddies it came with to a mate of mine to run on his 413. The only bitch I have with this (well previous owner) was apparently there was no rust in it (I bought it off trademe from Palmerston North), upon stripping it down, found the mother of all holes in the firewall above the pedal box :x , and the fuel tank was really only just held in by 1 of the 4 mounts as they had all rusted through. How this thing got warrents I buggered if I know :?
Anyway its getting a wee make over so hopefully one of the zuks will be ready soon to go play

Does my arse look big in this

stripped and off to rotazuks 8)

The 1600 goes in... With one of Bens wicked conversion kits making it a simple bolt in job

Hopefully I will end up with a road legal zook with 31s, rockhopper transfercase, winch, exo cage and thats about it.

Down the track there are already some cool little ideas Chris has come up with but will get the thing running first before I get all excited about those 8)
