i have one its pretty good, but if your expecting a detailed guide to tough tracks there are only a couple what they define as "hard Yakka". but as a guide to some magic back roads and some great of the beaten path tracks etc its really good :)

Ive seen some of the tracks that Hohepa classes as hard yakka on different vid's over the years, and he was taking a Delica van over them :D But the book would be great as a reference for all the tracks we have in NZ.

I had a look at this book last night in the shop, wouldn't buy it. It does not have ALL the tracks in NZ, in fact it has alot less then Ken Sibleys books. Not worth the money IMHO.

Now if only we could get Bulletproof to write one with all his grade 5 stuff, then that would be a good 4wdriving book.

Na, then they'd be over used and turn to shit with riff raff, much like some of the good tracks in 'that' book did.

Yeah, exactly mate :!: :!: :!:

I reckon if someone wants to know where the good wheeling is, they need to join the local club, then at least there is some hope of policing the riff raff

I look at it from the perspective that because most of the riff raff aren't in a club, they don't have the skills to do the tracks I am talking about. Both the driving and the navigatiuon skills required to find some of them.

The only book that Bulletproof would write about is his 1948 Landrover rebuild :D
