Td27 turbo injectors vs td27 na injectors
Td27 turbo injectors vs td27 na injectors
I am putting a turbo kit off a 89 terrano on my 91 navara, are there any difference between the na injectors and the turbo injectors or are they the same.

I keep looking for the loose nut behind the wheel, but I can't find it!!

Might have to be a bit more specific

Re: Td27 turbo injectors vs td27 na injectors
do the turbo injectors flow more fuel at full cycle?? or can i use the N/A injectors for a turbo application. Will I have any problems running the td27 N/A injectors.Note I am changing the fuel pump over.
Re: Td27 turbo injectors vs td27 na injectors
Why dont you just change both other, keep the injectors with the pump.

Re: Td27 turbo injectors vs td27 na injectors
To my limited knowledge they are the same injectors and different pumps. Mine was non-turbo, fitted a turbo, big exhaust and turned up the non-turbo pump. it pulls like a schoolboy

a fella i know ran n/a injectors on his turbo engine no problems,
Re: Td27 turbo injectors vs td27 na injectors
the turbos also had a oil squirted under the piston's to keep cooler well think thats what they were for
Re: Td27 turbo injectors vs td27 na injectors
Hasnt the TD27T pump got a boost compensator on it? If so, you'd benefit greatly from using it.

Re: Td27 turbo injectors vs td27 na injectors
You will find that the TD27t injectors are set to a higher burst pressure than the TD27.
Using the TD27t injectors will give you more power and a cleaner burn.
It will still have more power than its ever had before on the TD27 injectors though, just not to its full potential.
Same goes for the injector pump.
You can increase the fuel delivery by turning the fuel screw in half a turn, but it will always be smoky off boost and you'l struggle to keep your egts under control as a result. But it will still work ok. It'l smoke down low in the rev's and run out of fuel(and power) up top, but it will work.
Fit the TD27t pump which has a boost compensator aneroid which controls the fuel delivery in relation to manifold pressure and your egt's will be mint all the time, it won't be smoky all the time and you should get better top end power.

Re: Td27 turbo injectors vs td27 na injectors
I have the complete turbo setup but carn't see any info on the injectors in the td27 hand book. I will just change them over.
I have also made some blockoff plates for the emission control gear, and will block off the 14psi pop off valve
